Margaret Anderson

Margaret Anderson, 101, of Indiana, formerly of Canton, passed away, Thursday, October 2, 2025, in Indianapolis.

She was born in Canton, on July 7, 1924, to Willard and Rachel (Wherry) Dusten. They preceded her in death.

Margaret Married Gordon Anderson on July 10, 1943, he preceded her in death on October 9, 1958.

Also preceding her in death are one son, Robert Anderson, two brothers, Billy and Jimmy, and one sister Ethel.

Margaret is survived by three children, Elizabeth Easton, Lisa (Jimmy Angel) Brown, and James (Lauri) Anderson, nine grandchildren, Robert (Kim), Angie (William), Matthew (Jennifer), Zachary (Heidi), Tyler (Miranda), Eric (Laura), Kevin (Amy), Jennifer (Joseph), and Kristina (Peter), eight teen great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren.

Margaret worked at Tempco until its closing, and later at Maid Rite. She enjoyed crocheting for her family, and making candy and fudge.

A funeral service will be held at Oaks - Hines Funeral Home in Canton on Friday, October 10, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Burial will immediately follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton.
