Lloyd E. Walker

Lloyd E. Walker, 87, of Dunfermline, passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Red Oak Estates in Canton.

He was born on July 11, 1938, in Greenville, Illinois, to Woodrow and Eula “Louise” (Ray) Walker. He married Rowena Kay Bitner, who preceded him in death.

Surviving is his loving companion, Debra Gregg; daughter, Angela (Mike) Rush; step children, Jennifer Munger, Angela (late Quinn) Mayhew, Mika Munger, grandchildren, Alexandra (David) McCarthy, Levi (Seleste) Rush, Caleb Rush, Joshua Rush, Breanna (Michael) Vance, and Skylar Walker; Step grandchildren, Kelsey Munger, Gregory (Emily) Murray, Nicholas Mayhew, Charles Mayhew, Madilyn Munger, Sadie Munger, Cora Munger and great-grandchildren, Ryker, David, Rowena, Mason, Ryker, and Owen and step great grandchild Wyatt.

He was also preceded in death by two children, Darrin Walker, Neil Walker, one step son, Daniel Munger, one brother, Richard Walker, and two sisters, Gladys Smith and Carol Littell.

Lloyd began his career in construction before working for ADM in Peoria. He later served as maintenance manager at Illini Bluffs, retiring in 2003. Lloyd also enjoyed coaching softball at Illini Bluffs for 20 plus years.

A proud veteran, he served in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier Lexington.

A graveside service with military honor’s will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Maple Ridge Cemetery in Mapleton. There will be no visitation.

Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
