Canton – Charlotte E. O’Haver, 88, of Canton, passed away at 5:05 PM on Monday, August 19, 2019 at Sunset Manor Nursing Home. She was born on May 13, 1931 in Canton to Roy V. and Mildred E. (Wood) Scalf.
Surviving is one son, Tim Phillips of Canton, one step-daughter, Lori Babb of Chillicothe, IL, and one brother, Ron (Dolores) Scalf of Tremont, IL.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Robert C. Scalf.
Charlotte worked as a secretary at the YMCA in Canton for several years. She was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Canton and was active with the Fulton County Playhouse. Charlotte was a loving mother to her children.
Burial of ashes will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, September 6, 2019 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. Rev. Dennis Owens will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded with Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton. Memorials can be made to the American Heart Association.
