CANTON- Janet K. Heller, 77, of Canton, passed away at 1:24 PM on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at UnityPoint Health Methodist in Peoria. She was born on January 6, 1939 in Canton, the daughter of Frank Earl and Lorraine (Johnson) Richardson. She married Jerry Heller on December 30, 1967 in Canton. He survives.
Also surviving is her brother, Larry Richardson of Peoria.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a professional photographer for many years, and was a member of the First Christian Church in Canton. She was nicknamed the “Den-Mother” by her Class of 1957.
Funeral Services will be at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Sedgwick Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1995 North Main Street, Canton, where visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Rev. Glenn Nestlerode will officiate. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Canton. Memorials can be made to the First Christian Church.
