Estelle “Geri” Grigsby

Estelle “Geri” Grigsby, 79 of Canton, passed away at 5:07 AM on Monday, July 14, 2025 at Graham Hospital in Canton. She was born on March 7, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA, to James and Anna (Eulitz) Martin. She married Ken Grigsby on October 19, 1968 in Somers Point, NJ. He survives.

She is also survived by one daughter, Regina Grigsby Rogers; three grandchildren, Miranda (Dustin Himmel) Grigsby, Gage Rogers, and Riddock Rogers; three great-grandchildren, Liam Dockins, Ronan Himmel, and Ezra Himmel.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one son, Steven Grigsby whom passed in 1995; one sister, Pat Dellarso; and beloved dog, Riley.

Geri worked and retired from Graham Hospital as a certified surgical technologist for 30 years. Geri enjoyed spending winters in Florida and family trips to Minnesota. Geri was one of a kind, the kind of person you never forget. 

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, July 25, 2025 at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton, IL. Deacon Curtis Theyse will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded through Sedgwick Funeral Homes & Crematory in Canton, IL. Memorials may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society.
